අතු පතර විහිදාන
ඇසිපිය පවා නොසලාන
කෙදින හො ජය ටැඹක් දකිමැයි
අට්ටාලෙ  දෙස බලන වගනම්....

මසකට වරක් නොවරදව
දෙනෙත් කදුලින් බරව
සෙවන දේ හිස පසෙක හරවන්
අවි අමෝරන කුලී රැලකට...

ඉද හිටක බැටන් පොලු
තව විටක කඳුළු බිඳු
ඉවසාන නෙත් බරව සිටී නුඹ
දිනන තුරු සිරකල අකුරු.....
